Welcome to Westchester Library System’s Seniors Site

Library Services and Programs for Seniors

Coming in early 2024: Library by Mail!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Field Hall Foundation, WLS is excited to announce that we will be piloting a County-wide homebound delivery service for books, dvds, cds, and more! Our libraries strive to serve the entirety of their communities- regardless of one’s ability to visit in person. Our hope is that the Library by Mail program will give us a much-needed chance to reconnect with homebound residents, their families, and caregivers to provide entertainment, information, and another line of connection to the community.

Interested in participating? Sign up for email updates if you or someone you know would be interested in signing up for our Library by Mail service.

More information will be coming in the new year- check back in January to learn more!

WLS is here to help you find the information you need.

Westchester offers countless resources, services, and benefits to its seniors, but keeping track of it all can be difficult.
